MERAS | Specialized Education & Training

MERAS is a skills academy: practise what you need now, in clear steps.

Practise the skill, and leave with work you can show. For children, young adults, professionals and organizations, in person in El Shorouk and online. We start from your actual level, and after each stage we write down what changed and what comes next.

How we train

Four steps in every program, each one written down

The same method in reading, handwriting, languages and teacher training: we do not move on until we know where the learner stands.

1

Level check

Before the first session we find out where you stand, through a short conversation or a small task.

2

A written plan

A few clear goals that fit your level, sent to you in writing before you start.

3

Guided practice

You practise in small steps, and the trainer corrects with you as you go.

4

Progress note

We write down what changed and the next step. In children's programs the note goes to the family.

Who trains at MERAS

How we choose trainers

We do not publish trainer names. We publish how we choose them, a process every trainer goes through before working with us.

  1. Application review: We look at experience in the skill itself, and in teaching it.
  2. Interview: We ask how they check a level, and how they write a progress note.
  3. Trial lesson before a panel: They teach a short lesson, and the panel assesses it against written criteria.
  4. Contract: They work with the MERAS curriculum, and their materials are reviewed before class.

All questions
Who trains at MERAS?

Trainers chosen in written steps: application review, an interview, a trial lesson before a panel, then a contract. We do not publish trainer names.

How do you measure progress?

We check the level at the start, then after each stage we write down where you were, where you are now, and the next step.

Do you give a certificate?

Depending on the program: a certificate of attendance, or of completion of a training program, issued by MERAS. It is not a government qualification or a licence.

Do you help with getting a job?

No. We train the skill with you, and you leave with finished work you can show yourself. We do not provide or promise jobs.

Are there online programs?

Yes. Arabic for non-native speakers runs online as a pilot, on Cairo time.

How do I find out fees and times?

We send them on WhatsApp after your inquiry or booking request, before you commit to anything.

Tell us where you are starting, and we will start there

Tell us who the program is for and what you want to train in. We reply to arrange a level check.
