Levels

Level 1
Booking open Ages 7 to 10Letters, their sounds, first syllables.

Booking open Ages 7 to 10Reading short sentences smoothly.
How a level runs: A level check before placement, then 12 one-hour sessions, two days a week, over about 6 weeks. Groups are organised by age band.
1 · Who it is for
For children who struggle with reading or read slowly, and for those who want to start on the right footing. Levels 1 to 3 are for ages 7 to 10; level 4 is for ages 10 to 15.

3 · Level check
Before a child starts, we sit with them for a short session, listen to them read and write, place them at the right level, and tell the family what we found.
4 · Progress notes
After each level we write the family a short note: where your child started, what changed, what comes next, and how to help at home.
5 · Format and place
In person in El Shorouk, in small groups.
6 · Status and next step
